About this campaign

All proceeds from this booster will go toward the 2017 Oklahoma Public Health Association Conference! The theme of this year's Conference is Creating the Healthiest State: People, Policy & Resources.

According to the United Health Foundation’s 2016 Annual Report Ranking, Oklahoma is the 46th healthiest state, making it one of the top five states with the biggest challenges. Improving our ranking will require a concerted effort from policy makers, health professionals, state and local government, insurers, business and community leaders, advocacy organizations, consumer groups, the faith community, American Indian tribal leadership, and our residents. All Oklahomans deserve to live healthy lives. To ensure everyone in the state has that opportunity, the health of populations served must be considered when making decisions, not only in healthcare, but in public and private sectors. The Oklahoma Public Health Association Conference will explore all the components needed to improve overall health in Oklahoma.
