Olivia Marie Coats

About this campaign

Rachel Melancon and her Fiance Allen Coats expected a healthy baby girl, and she was in fact beautiful and flawless. She was also perfectly healthy until Dr. George Backardjehiv decided to use forcep before rushing mom off for an emergency c-section. Olivia Marie Coats was born December 28,2013 and was immediately transferred by life flight helicopter from Port Arthur,Texas to Houston,Texas! She was prounonced brain dead as soon as she arrived to Houston hospitals. Olivia was on life support for 4 days, January 1,2014 Olivia's parents and family made one of the biggest decisions of their life and decided to take their precious babygirl off life support. After nurses did so shortly around 3 PM on New Year's Day her heart stopped beating around 5 PM that same day. Olivia had then went to be with god in her new home.
