About this campaign

Olivia and Logan were born 17 weeks too soon on August 27, 2007. Logan passed away on September 28, 2007. Olivia spent 105 days in the NICU. Every year we walk in the March for Babies in honor of Olivia, who is now six years old and thriving, and in memory of Logan.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

Olivia and Logan were born at 23 weeks on August 27, 2007. Olivia weighed 1 lb 1.5 oz and Logan weighed 1 lb 1.75 oz. Each were 11.5 inches long. Sweet Logan passed away on September 28, 2007 when he was just over 1 month old. Olivia spent 105 days fighting for her life in the NICU before we were able to take her home. Today she is 6 years old, in kindergarten and a proud big sister to Abigail, born at 35 weeks on November 20, 2012.

If not for the March of Dimes, babies born as early as Olivia and Logan would have no hope of survival. They were given a 30% chance of survival and a 90% chance of a major disability. We became involved with the March of Dimes as a way to honor our daughter who, despite a few lingering effects of prematurity, continues to thrive. We also want to always remember our son, Logan, and help prevent other families from enduring such a devastating loss.
