About this campaign

This year marks Olivette Franklin's,"Granny's", 24th year Triumph over breast cancer, and we are inviting you to celebrate with us!!
Cancer has been a strengthening factor in our family's lives and we want to increase cancer awareness as we celebrate our joyous victory. We have had so many  immediate family members lose their courageous battles, both young and old.   We want to keep our beloved family member's memories alive and give back to a very worthy cause. 

Olivette Franklin, "Granny" was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1990,  and as a result was a successful candidate of a double masectomy.   In addition to her own battle, Granny, following the footsteps of her mother, Elmira Cornett,  has been caretaker and supporter for a number of her family members to include her granddaughter, father,  two brothers, aunt,  grandfather and cousin. 
Despite the adversity, Olivette's faith in God has not waivered and through it all she has endured.  She wants to bring awareness to this cause and invites you to celebrate her victory!
