About this campaign
Thousands of children in the Dominican Republic drop out of school every year in order to help their families out. I wanted to do something about this, but I cannot do this alone. This is where everyone at home comes in. I would like to raise money in order to buy essential school supplies for children who are in need and live in the Dominican Republic. There should be no excuses for why a child could not obtain the school supplies needed for a better future.
Miles de niños en la República Dominicana abandonan la escuela cada año con el fin de ayudar a sus familias. Yo quería hacer algo sobre esto, pero no puedo hacer esto sola. Aquí es donde necesito tu ayuda. Me gustaría recaudar dinero para la compra de útiles escolares para niños que lo necesitan y viven en la República Dominicana. No debe haber excusas de por qué un niño no puede obtener los útiles escolares necesarios para un futuro mejor. Two of my cousins, Yohanna de la Cruz and Maximo Montero, have been doing their part by helping out people who are in need in the Dominican Republic. Now it is my turn! I want to help out children through one of the things I am most passionate about, education. I need your help in order to raise money to buy school supplies for children who will hopefully become our future doctors, lawyers, etc. Below there are photos taken by my two cousins as they were doing their part and trying to help these children. Dos de mis primos, Yohanna de la Cruz y Máximo Montero, han estado haciendo su parte para ayudar a personas que están en necesidad en la República Dominicana. ¡Ahora es mi turno! Quiero ayudar a los niños a través de una de las cosas que más me apasiona, la educación. Necesito su ayuda con el fin de recaudar dinero. Este dinero sera usado para comprar material escolares para los niños que se convertirán en nuestros futuros médicos, abogados, etc. Abajo hay fotos tomadas por mis dos primos quienes estan haciendo su parte.
