Nicaragua Medical Mission Trip

This August, I will be traveling back to Nicaragua on my second medical mission trip. This trip is very special to me because, as a registered nurse, it gives me the chance to combine my heart for missions with my love for the medical field. But first, I need your help! My trip cost about $1,600 which will include airfare and my stay at the mission house. I will be traveling with other members from the mission team at my church through an organization called Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International, or BMDMI. While we are there, my team will have the opportunity to share our love for Jesus with the people of an impoverished village, as well as provide basic medical and dental care for them. This care includes a medical clinic, an eye clinic, a pharmacy, dental services, and even offers various veterinarian services. We also supply members of the community with foods such as beans and rice. In addition to the clinic, our team holds multiple worship services each day. These services are a great way for us to connect with the village people and often open doors to share the story of Jesus with them. So whether it is through prayers or participating in this fundraiser, I am so thankful for your support in making this trip possible for me!
