NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE T-SHIRT “FAQ”:
1.
How and when will I receive my order?
Once we hit the order deadline (May 9),
shirts will be printed and shipped from the manufacturer. You will receive a
notification email which includes a link to track your package. You will also
receive an email receipt as soon as you place your initial order. The order
deadline was set for May 9 so that all shirts should arrive prior to Memorial
Day.
2.
How does this program benefit The Neighborhood
House?
A few dollars from each purchase goes to
The Neighborhood House. As more shirts are purchased, the % of each sale going
to NHH increases. As an added benefit, it gives folks just like you the chance
to show your support for NHH—and we love seeing our t-shirts worn by people of
all ages throughout the community.
3.
Where are the shirts being printed?
We have teamed up with a Boston area company
called “Booster” for this project, which is a subsidiary of “CustomInk.com”
(you’ve probably seen their commercials on television). They are a
well-established company with a good reputation and offer secure transactions
(purchases will appear on your credit card statement as “WPYBooster.as.”
4.
Why are these shirts only $15?
We actually had the option of choosing our
own price for the product, and opted for the lowest possible option. Yes, higher price would increase the fundraising potential for NHH, but we’re all
about participation and want to see as many of these trendy t-shirts as
possible out and about all summer long (and winter too, depending on where you
live).
5.
What’s the catch?
The only “catch” is that in order to have
the shirts printed, we must sell at least 19 (and hopefully lots more than
that). If for some reason we do not meet the order minimum of 19, your purchase
will be refunded to your credit/debit card promptly after the order deadline
(May 9).
6.
What brand are these shirts?
These shirts are “Jerzees 50/50,” which are
a lightweight pre-shrunk cotton/poly blend.
7.
Why are the shirts only available in
Red/Heather?
While we’d like to tell you it’s because this
particular shade is subtle yet sophisticated, timeless yet fashion-forward,
etc., etc., etc., it’s really because this is the first time we’ve tried
something like this nd we wated to keep it simple. If this project is a
success (and with your help it will be!), we plan on offering additional items
in a wide array of colors periodically throughout the year (sweatshirts in the
fall, etc.).
