National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina Student Division

"The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back."

The Student Division of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina is dedicated to permanently changing the perception of the blind in this world. Everyday we work to better the lives of the blind by educating our communities about blindness while simultaneously tearing down the mythical walls that society has built that keep us from achieving our goals. We know that these obstacles are nothing more than fallacies, and we are determined to reshape the perception of the blind citizenry of this world.
