people need to be more aware of domestic violence and realize that it is a growing problem and it needs to stop. and those going through domestic violence need to know that there are people out there wanting and willing to help them.

I grew up as a child in an environment where domestic violence was a weekly occurrence. Although it didn't happen directly in my home, we were constantly surrounded by it. I fully support all efforts to end violence.

One of the biggest ways to help the people who are subject to physical and mental abuse, is to let them know they don't stand alone! Great opportunity to help show those that we do care!
