There are many reasons Veterans can become homeless, including poverty, lack of support from family or friends, substance use, or mental health challenges that may develop or worsen as a result of trauma they experience while serving.Veterans Projectis committed to meeting the needs of every Veteran. Comprehensive, individualized care including health care, housing assistance, job training, and education can help Veterans secure safe, stable housing and achieve self-sufficiency.
The 2014 Point-in-Time (PIT) count revealed that there were approximately 49,933 homeless Veterans on a single night in January 2014 in the United States. For the Veterans Project, even one Veteran without safe and stable housing is one too many.and that is why veterans project was started to help Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Joseph F Barber is the Executive Director and founder of veterans project.,After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Miami, Mr barber went on to complete his Education in constitutional law,and Mechanical engineering and metal working,Was and honor graduate of the AberdeenProvingGrounds metal workers school U.S.Army 44b10. And a smallBusinessowner Tradesmen Services,Mr Barber implements a full service for participants ofveterans project who arehomelessand veterans of all America's wars
Since founding veterans Project in early 2013,Mr Barber has taken on the overall operation of Veterans Project Social Services Program including strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs and ensuring quality services are rendered to low-income and homeless individuals, for homeless Veterans, and services for homeless children and veterans
General Information
One particular approach to improving overall services to our families and residents is through our Veterans Project starts where the family or individual is and helps them navigate employment, medical, educational, psychological and any other service or program that will help empower their life.

Awards In the initial years of operations, information will disseminated about veterans project to the target population. Clients who are interested in participating in to moving towards economic independence will be enrolled in the program. We will work with them to create an individual training and services plan, and refer them to services based on their needs.
Within this time period the anticipated outcomes include: at least 80% of clients will achieve their goals and be employed or enrolled in an appropriate education program; at least 50% of clients will transition to economic independence within 24 months of enrollment in case-management services; and 100% of clients will enjoy enhanced access to needed services via referrals, case management, transportation and/or other assistance, as needed.

Number of veterans approximately 23 million Increasing numbers of returning military personnel: according to the Mass. Dept. of Veterans’ Services, approximately 31,000 service members have returned to the Commonwealth Between 529,000 and 840,000 veterans are homeless at some time during the year.2 On any given night, more than 300,000 veterans are living on the streets or in shelters in the U.S. Approx. 33% of homeless males in the U.S. are veterans.2 Veterans are twice as likely as other Americans to become chronically homeless.2 Veterans represent 11% of the adult civilian population, but 26% of the homeless population, according to the Homeless Research Institute. Veterans are more at risk of becoming homeless than non-veterans The number of homeless Vietnam-era veterans, male and female, is greater than the number of soldiers who died during the war.1 Primary causes of homelessness among veterans are: Lack of income due to limited education and lack of transferable skills from military to civilian life (especially true of younger veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan) Combat-related physical health issues and disabilities Combat-related mental health issues and disabilities Substance abuse problems that interfere with job retention Weak social networks due to problems adjusting to civilian life Lack of services.3

On any given day we the people have some 300,000 veterans on the streets of America Every day, 22 veterans take their own lives. That's a suicide every 65 minutes.As shocking as the number is, it may actually be higher.WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN ASSIST MANY MANY MORE
It is our best hope that we can assist them were the government and other none profits do not or will not large amounts of money every day go to the organizations and less than half ever reaches the troops in need and I have found few places that will house a troop for more than a few days or give them the true support and love they need with our group of people 100% of everything we take in goes back to a troop we keep nothing for our time or like other organizations take a modest administration fee for the efforts which amounts to millions going to the one in need of nothing or no help we have seen this with our own eyes,our government is doing nothing for these vets and in fact as we all can see the VA is a dangerous place these days,

And in all the madness many seem have forgotten the women who have served we the people they to are equallyveterans as any man and suffer just as well let us not forget Her War



I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for one self, one's own family or one's nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 'CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS'. OUR RIGHTS, FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES ARE UNALIENABLE MEANING THEY ARE ENDOWED ON US BY OUR CREATOR, GOD ALONE! WE HAVE NO OTHER AUTHORITY TO WHICH WE MUST GO IN ORDER TO HAVE AND EXERCISE OUR RIGHTS. OUR CONSTITUTION SERVES 'ONLY' AS A WRITTEN GUARANTEE FROM GOVERNMENT THAT IT WILL NOT INFRINGE ON OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS, FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES !!!

OUR COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. THEY ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF OUR SUCCESS AS A COUNTRY. A COUNTRY WITHOUT GOD IS AS A SHIP WITHOUT A RUDDER TOSSED TOO AND FRO BY THE STORMS OF THIS WORLD TO END ONLY IN SHIPWRECK. AS TRUE PATRIOTS WE MUST STAND IN PLACE OF THAT MISSING RUDDER STEERING OUR COUNTRY BACK TO GOD AND OUR CONSTITUTION!!!

WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER TO HONOR OUR NATIONS VETERANS, THOSE WHO HAVE MADE THE NECESSARY SACRIFICES UP TO AND INCLUDING THE GIVING OF ONES LIFE IN DEFENSE OF OUR GOD, CONSTITUTION AND COUNTRY! IT IS A DEBT WE CAN NEVER REPAY! THEY DESERVE BOTH HONOR AND RESPECT AND IT IS OUR GOAL TO SEE THAT THEY GET IT!!!
