Nine year old, Milla Star Bizzotto, has a laugh that lights up her face and those around her. She loves playing with her friends and dog, having sleepovers, riding bikes with her little brother…the normal kid kind of stuff, except she is anything but normal. Milla, known to those around her as “The Champ”, is an OCR (obstacle course racing) athlete. Any given day you’ll find her at her dad’s gym in Miami, Focused Movement Academy; jumping over walls, climbing ropes, swinging from one monkey bar to another, and on and on.
She is the youngest, and only kid, to ever compete and complete the BattleFrog Xtreme 24 hour race (March 2016). She has continued to race, and looks forward to competing in future adult BattleFrog, Spartan and Tough Mudder races. Each race is run side by side with her mentor, coach and dad, Christian Bizzotto. Milla began racing after seeing her dad race and coach OCR, and after being bullied at the age of 7. These events inspired her to show just how strong she is mentally and physically and prove to the bullies that she is unbreakable.
Milla now trains and competes to inspire other kids like her to do more, get off the couch and put down those computers. She has started a social media campaign known as #InspirationForTheIPadGeneration to stand up and have your voice heard against those trying to bring you down and say #IAmTheAntiBully.
