About this campaign

Show your support for the need for metastatic breast cancer research with the purchase of a METAvivor snowflake beanie hat.

LIFERS: what a great alternative to scarves and wigs when you're in treatment... a quick, easy (and warm) way to get the METAvivor name out there! Family, friends, and supporters of a loved one with breast cancer: how nice to have a warm hat as the weather gets colder, while showing your support for METAvivor. Meanwhile, ALL of the proceeds go directly to metastatic breast cancer research. The snowflake design is perfect for a fall and winter hat!

NOTE: the snowflake is EMBROIDERED on the front. There is no "METAvivor.org" on the back, which reduces the cost and minimum required quantity to only 15.

We are like snowflakes – gentle, unique, and beautiful – but we all share one common fear. Nearly 13% of women and 1 in 1000 men will have breast cancer in our lifetimes. Each year, about 192,000 women and 1,900 men in the United States are diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. And each year, nearly 40,000 women and 440 men die from invasive breast cancer.

Think before you pink. The focus on awareness is not enough, and empty campaigns with pretty pink promises are the not the answer. Pink is not a cure!

Metastatic breast cancer is the cancer that kills, yet very little money goes to research. METAvivor relies solely on volunteers to run the organization, so that 100% of funding can go directly to grants for research.

METAvivor is hope. Join the cause and give generously. Let it snow.
