Prayers for Mark

Our son Mark Drew was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, April 13, 2012. He has undergone 7 rounds of chemo, 3 surgeries, stem cell transplant, 6 months of immunotherapy, and countless days of physical therapy and occupational therapy, due to his tumor compressing on his spine. Even with everything Mark has been through he still has a smile on his face, and loves playing with others. Mark finished his treatment in July of 2013, and had clear scans. He started kindergarten in August, and things were getting back to a normal.

We were getting ready to start the DFMO trial, it is a maintenance therapy to help from relapsing. Aug 29, which is another date I will never forget as a parent. we were told that they found another tumor in is brain. Heartbroken for our little man, we are determined as parents to find him the best care, and that care will lead us to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in New York with Dr. Kramer to join her 8h9 trial. We have found hope... Mark had surgery to remove the tumor, and will have two rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN. We will then travel to New York for treatment with Dr. Kramer. We are asking for help for travel expenses, because we will be traveling back and forth from Tennessee to New York for treatment for our little hero, Mark. Thank you for your support!
