About this campaign

The Belize Estates Archaeological Survey Team (BEAST) needs your help. We want to raise archaeological awareness by decking out the hard-working employees of Chan Chich Lodge in BEAST t-shirts, which we think are truly inspired jungle fashion.

If we reach 50 shirts sold we will earn $300. All funds raised will go directly towards Brett A. Houk for the Chan Chich Archaeological Project.

Please contact the campaign organizer Brett A. Houk with any questions you have.

Shirts will be delivered to the organizer approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

An important component of archaeological research is public outreach. Unfortunately, with so many demands on an archaeological project's budget, public outreach is often reduced to the distribution of a technical report or a one-time lecture to a local community. The Chan Chich Archaeological Project (CCAP), through its inspired line of jungle fashion, wants to create local buzz and bring awareness to the important archaeological research taking place in northwestern Belize. We also want to give back to the hard-working employees of Chan Chich Lodge, who support and facilitate our research. All the proceeds from the sale of BEAST t-shirts will go to buying more BEAST t-shirts! Our goal is to provide each employee of the lodge with a shirt. These shirts will raise archaeological awareness by inspiring visitors to learn more about the important work the CCAP and BEAST are doing in the area.
