WCCC/FCC Mayette Haiti Mission Trip

Four years ago, two Versailles churches teamed up with a church in a small town in Haiti called Mayette. These churches have been sending teams to work in this community since that time. This summer we will be returning to again see the people of the town and re connect with them. We will be helping to provide several couples the opportunity to have a wedding, which is a really big deal culturally and socially in order to be allowed to do certain things in the church. Most of these couples have lived together for many years without having the financial means to actually have a formal wedding. This ministry allows them that privilege of an actual wedding ceremony. 
We will also be able to help around the church/school property with small construction projects, such as installing a rain-catching gutter system to help collect clean water at the church. 
The children and youth of the area are also a priority and we will have one day just dedicatedto them ith games, cafts, stries, music, and sports! We want to just fellowship and have fun with them as kids. We are excited to have the opportunity to let them teach us some things from their culture while we ultimately share the love of Jesus with them.
