About this campaign

A two-alarm fire at Maverick Restaurant on 17th and Mission made the building inhabitable, displacing the residents that lived above the restaurant. This fundraiser is to help pay their relocation expenses as they try to find a new place to live. More information on the fire at InsideScoop.

If we reach all 500 shirts sold we will earn $5,700.

On Friday October 25th, an early morning two-alarm fire at Maverick Restaurant on 17th and Mission cleared the residents up stairs out of their homes. The fire made the building inhabitable and the restaurant will be closed for six months to one year doing repairs. Maverick has insurance and most of the staff have found new jobs. Everyone knows how difficult it can be to find a place in San Francisco, so this fundraiser is to help the residents displaced by the fire. The goal is to raise $5k and any remaining funds will be donated to La Cocina. More information on the fire at InsideScoop.
