Mason Lang Heart Hero - Congenital Heart Walk - Atlanta Georgia

My Son Mason was born with HLHS, only one side of his heart functions. It requires that he have 3 major heart surgeries by the time he is 5. He has already had 2, but he is a well adjusted 2 year old that is active and loves to do things that other children do. His day consist of received daily BP meds, lasix, and asprin every day, daily watch of oxygen leves, plenty of fluid intake, checking his color to make sure that his lips and tongue are not blue or purple. regualr Monthly or quarterly visits to a cardiologist office for EKG, weight, and ultra sounds of his heart to determine how is heart is and when his next surgery will need to take place. We are trying to raise awareness, and help fund organizations that will donate the money for the purpose of finding cures for CHD.
