Go Gray in May 2014

The Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance was founded in eight years ago by brain tumor survivors, friends and caregivers.  I have only come to know this wonderful organization for over a year but have already seen the difference they make in the lives of patients and families in our state.  I lost my mom Katy Wichlac to a glioblastoma after just 3 months and 9 days.  But cancer messed with the wrong girl and now I honor her memory every day by raising awareness for brain cancer, raising funds for research, and never forgetting what a great woman she was.  May is Brain Cancer Awareness month and last year I wore gray every day and posted pictures of myself - this year I encourage everyone to join me!  Buy a shirt, make a donation and wear gray because: Gray Matters!
