About this campaign

This shirt will be worn on Saturday June 20th to show our support for The Mia Foundation and Love For Mia Day 2015. This is the day we all celebrate the life of our beloved Mia.

The Mia Foundation was started in 2012 after we lost our beloved Mia due to complications from her birth defect. She was born on June 26th 2010 with a Cleft Palate, the vet suggested putting her down but that was not even a option, Mia was meant to be. Through lots of research and love, Mia began her journey. Mia had multiple surgeries to correct her palate and none worked. Even with all of this Mia never gave up and continued to make people smile all over the world. She changed people on a daily basis. Her smile was the light of the world. She never met a stranger, Mia loved all. Her will and spirit made people love her. Right up until the day she went to the Rainbow Bridge she fought. Her Mission on this earth continues to this day with The Foundation that was created in her honor. The knowledge we all learned from Mia will carry us for a life time. The Mia Foundation is MIA!  The babies we continue to save will always carry a part of her with them. Without her, none of what The Mia Foundation does everyday would have been! We will continue her journey for as long as a baby born needs us.  The Motto of The Mia Foundation is " If they are born, they deserve a chance at life" just like she did! Mia may have only been here on this earth for a short time but what a impact she made!
