Philippines Mission Trip 2015

All three of these women have gone to the Philippines through a program at Westmont College called Emmaus Road. They are now looking to return for another trip in July 2015. 

While in the Philippines, we will be partnering with Kids International Ministries (KIM). This organization provides support for many ministries, including community feedings, an orphanage, a Christian school, a pregnancy clinic, a girls' home, and a sister ministry called Journey for Hope. We plan to work closely with Journey for Hope where we will tutor students, build relationships with community families, have nightly fellowship over dinner, share devotions, and spread the Gospel through words and actions. We will be working with the same children and families that we have had the privilege of getting to know in our past mission trip(s).

During the day, we will tutor students and build relationships at Journey for Hope. We will also be working with KIM in various communities to provide food, medical care, and talk about Christ alongside a local pastor. At night, we will join with Journey for Hope in dinner and then lead devotions as a team.

As of right now, the dates of our trip are not set in stone. We are looking to raise enough funds to buy our plane tickets. Once we have done so, we will know our exact dates. We are confident that God will provide as he paves our path before us.
