A Little Boy's Journey Home

In the Fall of 2012 we began the adoption process of a little girl in China with Down syndrome. In August the following year, we welcomed Meghan into our home. As adoptive parents, 'unconditional love' takes on new meaning. It's a choice and an action, not just a feeling. She is a blessing to our family, and we are so thankful we get to share our lives and love with her.


Now, nearly a year and a half later, we are actively working on bringing her little brother home. "Forest" is 4.5 years old and has spent his entire life in an orphanage. We can't wait to bring him home and show him what unconditional love looks like. We can't wait for him to see what a FAMILY looks like. What it's like to have someone loving you unconditionally, celebrating your victories, comforting your hurts.

While he has a family to come home to, there are innumerable children worldwide with nobody. Because of this, 10% of the proceeds from this shirt sale will go to support general orphan care. The remaining proceeds will go completely to an orphanage fee required to complete the adoption. This fee is 35,000 RMB (roughly $5,700), and has buying power of nearly $45,000 in China - enough to make a difference (short-term, at least) in the lives of his friends left behind.
