Living Above Shame
The past has an amazing ability to paralyze and affect every area of current progress. The feelings from past hurt and mistakes can at times change our drive for growth. We wonder if it will happen again, what others will think, and if we can ever be free from the pain. The very thought of certain experiences can cause tears, emotions, and worry that can cripple the lives of even the toughest of us.
We can live "Above ShaME"
We can find hope in the future and gain victory in even the hardest of shameful and hurtful situations. As we band together and share our strengths, we can become a global network of support and empowerment. This isn't simply a fashion statement. This is a proclamation. "I'm above the shame of _____". The shaME logo will express to others that with out "ME", shame can't exist. It says watch ME rise above my shame.
We will begin with a shirt, and grow into a family of men, women, and children who have experienced the worst, but stand as a testament to the strength and determination of the free human spirit. We will plan events, meetings and webinars. Together, we can live Above Shame.
The Campaign
The fundraising drive will last 30 days. Everyone's Above Shame T's will ship together. When your T's arrive, begin to record and upload your Above Shame testimonies wearing your T. Tell the world what you live above the shame of. Your upload may help countless others move forward in shameless living in the same area. In your posts use the hashtag #aboveshame and add the topic hashtag. For example #pornography #childabuse #drugs #prison. We will begin to share your story!
