About this campaign

In May of this year, my Mom and her best friend are participating in Avon's 39 Mile Walk to End Breast Cancer. These two are truly awesome in every sense of the word. Especially because they both have medical issues that at times can make it extremely difficult to walk.Despite the obstacle this event presents to them, they have decided that it is nothing compared to the battles others fight through in the face of this disease.

The Avon 39 is a huge contributor to breast cancer research, and it is all done through donations made by people. People just like me and you. The minimum donation required to walk the 39 is $1800. My mom has made a huge commitment to not only raise the funds, but to walk just under 40 miles with a bad hip. FYI, the hip is essential to walking. While we cannot aid her in the physical pain that will surely be part of this walk, (sorry mom, I'm a realist) we CAN help her raise the funds she needs to participate in this incredible event. So I have designed these super-cool and witty t-shirts to entice your donation. For 20 bucks you can get a one of a kind t-shirt, and help to save lives. If you don't want one of the shirts you are really weird...but there is also the option to make a monetary donation. Every single dollar counts. My mom has to pay the difference if we don't meet the minimum of $1800. So please, help me out, help my mom out, help the boobs out...and most importantly help outthe people who are fighting this disease as you read this sentence.
