ABOUT US
In November 2013 the world's biggest and most successful boy-band One Direction announced their world tour, "Where We Are" which sold out in minutes. After hearing the news about this tour Brianna Hale, 17 at the time created a twitter account under the name @1DWWARoseBowl . Through this fast growing account,Brianna, more commonly known as "Bri" developed 3 Fan Projects along with other fans to be launched on September 11, September 12, and September 13, 2014. A Fan Project, is an experience created by fans for fans to be presented to an artist in order to show love or thanks for there giving through their music, there are many forms of fan projects the most popular being a "printout" that everyone in the stadium is to hold up, these projects have potential to be highly successful with proper promotion, if more than one project by different people is attempted to be presented the project will fail due to fan confusion, lack of experience and care for others. Throughout the 10 months of promotion of these fan projects for the band One Direction to be presented at the Rose Bowl, Bri met three other girls, Selena, Kate, and Liz. Together the four became not only a team and partners, but best friends. After 3 successful projects, Bri changed her twitter username to @1DToursCA and invited the other three girls to join her on the account and promote projects for One Direction's next tour "On The Road Again" for the dates in California on July 9 and July 11, 2015. All of the projects developed we're created by other's who wanted to get involved. Together as a team the four of them came up with new ideas for promotion new ways to bring others together such as contests, launching a website, keeping track of people who can help, launching a donation page, creating and hosting state-wide meetups and more. Liz, Kate, Selena, and Bri launched a project for the "On The Road Again" tour because they wanted to give back this time. The four of them having created a tightly bonded, life-long friendship wanted others to be able to experience the same thing they did while showing support for something they had in common. Most fan projects are for the bands but #1DFanProjectCA is specifically hand-crafted in order too bring fans together whether it be through concerts, meetups, twitter, or the projects themselves. Fans participating in #1DFanProjectCA have five things automatically in common, they are from the same state, they are fans of and support one direction, they are taking part in the same action and are able to have a hands-on experience cutting out hearts, printing printouts and writing on the back of them, they are attending One Direction shows in California and get to see in real life the turnout of their hard work, they follow @1DToursCA on twitter, and they want to give back whether it be to other fans or the boys. The experience overall is life changing and will create life long friends and memories. We hope too reach out too as many people as possible and share a once in a lifetimeexperiencewith them. We need your help in making this projecthappen by purchasing a shirt you increase our inventory or printouts, paper for hearts, and yellow glow sticks.
