About this campaign

Lilly and her family need your help to make sure that Lilly has everything she needs during treatment and to ensure that Lilly's family has a safe home to return to when Lilly finishes treatment. Please help us by buying one of these awesome shirts to show your support for Lilly. Any money received will go to Lilly and her family!

bald head 5jpglilly11jpglilly7jpglilly5jpgLilly is 5 years old, her favorite food is strawberries, she loves having bedtime stories read to her every night, she rides horses in her spare time, she adores her teachers and there's nothing more fun than going to school everyday. Lilly has the best friends in the whole wide world and she is the light in her mom and step-dads world. Lilly had everything any five year old could ever want, until November of 2014. The day before Thanksgiving while everyone else was preparing for a day of celebration and love Lilly's family received the terrible news that Lilly had cancer. Lilly was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with a rare sub-type called FLT3-ITD. Lilly is being treated at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Lilly's whole world changed in the blink of an eye, she would not be going home anytime soon, no more strawberries because of her new low-bacteria diet, no more riding horses and most of the time she gets to tired to stay awake for a bedtime story. No more cuddling with mom because the risk of an infection when her immune system is bottomed out is too high for cuddling or goodnight kisses. Lilly barely gets to see her step-dad because he's struggling to keep a home going for his girls when her treatment is finished. She can no longer go to school and never see's her friends who are hundreds of miles away. Lilly gets what little comfort she can in the activities she's healthy enough to enjoy when she has the energy which are far and few between but she never complains. Lilly is my hero and her family needs to make sure she has a home to go to after treatment. They are currently struggling to find a car since theirs is constantly breaking down. Her mom and step-dad just want to make sure Lilly has a safe and bacteria free home and vehicle for her after treatment finishes, please help them make this happen.
