About this campaign

This is our 3rd year participating in the Buddy Walk and we are so excited! We formed our team Liam's Lions in 2012 in honor of our beautiful boy Liam who is rockin' that extra chromosome and to raise awareness for Down syndrome and funds for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas!

The Buddy Walk is a nationwide event, created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995, that consists of a one-mile walk as well as a day of outdoor games and activities. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Our 15th Annual Buddy Walk will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
