Team Leslie

My wife, Leslie, has been diagnosed with Stage two invasive ductal carcinoma, otherwise known as breast cancer. It has been a rough time for our family and our two young children. Leslie was diagnosed on September 18th, 2014. She had been having tests done for a couple weeks after finding a lump in her breast while nursing our son Scotty. She monitored it for a month and saw no change. This is where the slogan "save the nursers" comes in. Leslie is very motherly and her biggest mission during this fight is to be able to preserve her breast in hopes of having more children and being able to breast feed. Leslie is in the early stages of her treatment and we are awaiting test results to determine the course of action. She will undergo a procedure to removed the tumor in the next two weeks followed by 20 weeks of chemo therapy and 8 weeks of radiation therapy. The doctors are extremely optimistic about her prognosis long term but it will be a challenging next 6 months for our family. Leslie is in good spirits and ready for the fight. I have put these T-shirts together to rally as much support for her as possible. To all those who have reached out to her, we thank you.
