About this campaign

Leo Bugenske was born on 11/01/13, and three weeks later, he was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Be a part of Leo's Pride, and help us raise funds for research for SMA. Show your support and share the message to Love Every One! The second annual Go Leo Go will be held October, 31 2015. Get your pre-race shirt to help build excitement for this family event! SMA is the number one genetic cause of infant death. It is a degenerative, neuromuscular disease often referred to as ALS in babies. SMA affects motor neurons and leads to weakness and wasting of muscles. Leo has the most severe type, Type 1. Despite his diagnosis, Leo is thriving! He is loving life, and shining a bright light on this world. There is currently no treatment or cure, but we getting close! Help fund research for this awful disease. Help share the message that we all need to go Love Every One! Get your pre-race shirt for Leo's big event on October 31, 2015. A shirt is a great way to participate from afar! Money will go directly to Crossover Athletics, a non-for profit tax exempt foundation that is managing funds for Go Leo Go and fundraising while our foundation is being established. Go Leo and Go Love Every One !
