About this campaign
Ladies In Waiting, Inc. seeks to assist girls as they transition into womanhood. Our "Nature to Nurture" Campaign will help us cover the costs of workshops, educational and recreationalfield trips, and other programming efforts.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organizationweare geared toward the enrichment and empowerment of girls in the Metro Atlanta area, through Group Mentoring & Rap Sessions, Arts, Recreation & Cultural field trips, Life Skills Training, Etiquette & Manners Training and Academic Support to develop a well rounded individual. Our goals are to decrease the cycle of teen pregnancy, reduce the use of drugs & alcohol among teenage girls, eliminate the need for girls to participate in gang related activity and increase the number of females who attend post secondary institutions, by teaching them the skills that willhelp them prepare for life after high school. http://www.ladiesinwaitinginc.org/
