In November 2013, I gave birth to my baby girl Kennedy! I went into early labor for reasons unknown. It was too early in the pregnancy to attempt to save her because her lungs were not developed enough to live outside my body. She lived for 1 hour. From that day forward, I researched Neonatal fatalities and Premature baby complications and deliveries and it effects such a large number of families, but because it is a sensitive subject, not one that is spoken about much. I said every year I would walk in Kennedy's honor and to promote awareness and raise funds for research!
