About this campaign

Shelby needs your help in kicking cancer for good! Please, if you can, purchase and donate some funds to help medical expenses along the way!

After multiple attempts at trying to figure out what was medically wrong with me, I finally got the answers I had been searching for all along! Following graduation of nursing school, my boyfriend, Cole and I finally decided to give it one last go and try to figure out the issue that had been lingering for months. We scheduled an appointment back in Hettinger, ND before Christmas and things were just not working out in our favors and we ended up having to re-schedule a couple of times and finally got in to see the Dr. a couple of days later than anticipated (this is all apart of the plan that God laid out for me)! Upon seeing the Dr. he instantaneously knew that there was a serious issue on our hands and that it was a very aggressive form of cancer. I was then rushed to Bismarck that evening by Cole's mom and no rest was gotten and the following day I was life-flighted to Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN. Beginning my journey at Mayo was stressful and emotional, having to make scary, grown-up decisions quickly. I knew that all of my decisions were going to be good, because I put my faith and trust in God. On December 24th, 2014 I was diagnosed with Acute Undifferentiated Leukemia. I was informed by swarms of doctors that this type of cancer was aggressive and needed to be dealt with accordingly. My support from family and friends was strong and unbreakable throughout the news of this disease and continues to grow and prosper everyday of my fight! I have a winding road ahead of my journey to becoming 'cancer-free' and entering full remission, and the medical expenses will only keep flowing in. With your help, if you are able, a purchase of a shirt that I have designed today will help ease the burden of any future financial troubles that I may have to face. So, if you are interested, please help me kick cancer for good!
