Kelsey Bowman's Senior Project: Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Awareness T-Shirts

Hello my name is Kelsey Bowman and I am selling t-shirts to raise awareness for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) for my Graduation Project. For those who don’t know, NAS is a condition where newborns are addicted to drugs when they first come out of their mother’s womb. This is caused by women abusing drugs such as methamphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, and prescription medications while they are pregnant. I want people to be informed that NAS is more common than led on, and that people need to be aware that innocent babies are put at risk by bad choices of their mothers. Did you know that the average number of babies born who suffer from NAS each year ranges from 100,000 to 375,000 (The Journal of the American Medical Association)? Help me educate NAS to people around the nation by wearing my t-shirt, in which ALL proceeds collected from will be donated to Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center in Taylorsville, NC. I have been spending a few hours every week with the wonderful ladies that run the facility, and have had the ability to see the amazing work that they do for the many women in our county. I hope to raise enough funds to help provide them with anything that they may need to keep running their successful non-profit organization. I plan to do this by selling the t-shirts pictured above. They are for sell for $15.00 each on the site that you are on now. Booster will mail the shirts directly to your front door, which is very convenient for you and myself.
