Keagan's Krew T-Shirts

Keagan graced us with his presence on February 11, 2010, weighing in at a mighty 9 pounds 8 ounces. He was your average happy, healthy baby boy without so much as a cold for the first year of his precious life. When Keagan was just 13 months old, he was diagnosed with an ependymoma brain tumor. He underwent a 11.5-hour surgery at Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester, NY to remove the tumor. The surgery was followed by radiation treatment. He went into remission and we were told it was a 1 in a million chance it would return. He had been cancer-free for a year and a half when the unthinkable happened and the cancer returned in May of 2013. He underwent surgery and radiation at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, once again with success. Unfortunately, just over a year later, another ependymoma tumor appeared. So, in July of 2014, Keagan underwent yet another surgery and radiation to treat the tumor and went into remission. Much to our dismay, on January 15, 2015, Keagan went for a follow-up MRI and the news was not what we were all hoping for. Three new tumors have appeared and he has recently completed full spinal and cranial radiation. Although Keagan's battle isn't quite over, he doesn't fight alone. His "Krew" is 430+ members strong and growing daily. We believe wholeheartedly that cancer picked the wrong little warrior so we keep calm and fight on!
