Our daughter had a triple bypass at 17 years old, due to aneurysms caused by Kawasaki Disease....
My granddaughter had this. We were told what it was after two different doctors saw her. Medical professionals need to learn more about it and not pass it off for some thing else.
My son had this disease in 1996 at 5 years old, he is doing well now, but this is in honor of the ones that are not! we are all survivors of this scary disease.
Great Nephew had the disease
My son was diagnosed at 10 months old after nearly 2 weeks of going through numerous tests! There needs to be quicker diagnosis and more awareness for parents who no nothing about this disease.
A beautiful baby, born to my cousin's daughter, suffered a heart attack at 4 mo. old. Thankfully, he survived but is monitored constantly. Drs. say he will need a heart transplant at some point. More research is desperately needed. Please donate.
