Sarah's Mission Trip to Japan

Dear friends and family,

I am excited tobe headed to Kakogawa, Japan in participation with Lifesong Church's mission trip this July 2015! In partnership with Kakogawa Baptist Church, our team will be building relationships with people in the community, teaching conversational English in schools, leading & assisting with youth and community events, outreach at public places, prayer walks, and most importantly: sharing the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ!

Our goals for this trip are:
1. To assist in youth outreach
2. To Love the community
3. To encourage the Christians there

The theme we will be focusing on while we are in Kakogawa is "Love Invades". We want to share the love of Christ that we feel every day, with the people of Kakogawa, encouraging them to share that love with others!

As you can probably tell, it's going to be a full two weeks of listening to, learning from, and loving on the people we meet in Kakogawa, and with that, a great opportunity for growth within our group.

It would mean so much to me if you would pray for this mission team experience. Pray for the 10 of us going- that we would be open to learning from the community we are visiting, and grow closer as a group and to Jesus in the process. Pray for Kakogawa Baptist Church in Kakogawa, Japan- thanking Jesus for placing it on their hearts to welcome us into their community. Pray for the people we meet- that we could love and honor them well. Pray especially for the youth who we will get to do ministry with- that they would connect the love we show, to the love Jesus has for them. Finally, please pray for me- that I could really experience this mission trip with an open, loving heart, and use what I learn in a fresh and effective way.

As of right now, I am working on fundraising for this trip.
With your help I know my goal will be met, and I will be able to share that love of Christ with the people of Kakogawa, Japan!
