About this campaign
Judy needs your help. She has multiple medical illnesses that require regular doctor and specialist visits: Chiari Malformation, Cervical Stenosis, Brachial Neuropathy and Vestibular Weakness. Without this help, the help she needs is at a stall.
Judy was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation in April 2014, her whole life she has suffered from problems but the doctors never had a definitive answer until that fateful day she finally had her first MRI. Since then Judy has been trying to spread awareness through Social Media and image design as best as she can.
She requires continuing tests and exams because of her condition. Her first surgery concerning her conditions will be an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion. She has multiple herniated discs in her neck which is causing her to lose balance and fall. Her surgeon also believes it is part of the reason for her vertigo and chronic/debilitating headaches (worse than a migraine). He also stated that if she falls one too many times that she may end up paralyzed (he is that worried). If this surgery (which is needed) does not help her, her neurosurgeon will revisit the Chiari situation, which will mean brain surgery known as "Decompression".
Her biggest wish is to spread awareness about Chiari Malformation and its related conditions (and comorbid conditions--which she has). Mine is to help her continue to receive the care she needs and spread awareness. Nothing would make her smile more than to see one of her designs being worn. Can you help?
