Fund Raiser to bring Joy home!

For a long time we have been wanting to add to our family through adoption. Last year we started looking into the foster care system to be certified. On December 26, 2013 we saw a picture and read a biography of a beautiful 11 year old girl from China who was waiting to be adopted. She has some health issues and would really benefit from living in the USA and getting the love and care she needs of a family who will help her grow and be healthy. Children in China age out of the adoption system at age 14. I don't want her to fear aging out before she gets her forever family. Currently we plan to travel in Sept/Oct which may be the soonest we can travel depending on approvals from China. The fall is one of the most expensive travel times, but I do not want to wait one more day than we have to to bring our daughter home. My husband and I and our two children (ages 15 and 13) are doing all we can to raise the needed funds to cover the travel expenses and orphanage donation for this adoption. Will you help us out? Spread the word about adoption and the reality that aging out of the system and being left on their own is no way for any child to have to live their lives. We are so excited to be adding to our family and appreciate all prayer and financial support during this journey!
