In 1995 I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma for the second time. I was only 35 years old and told by my doctors that I had only a 25% chance of surviving a year. I was able to get into the melanoma vaccine program at John Wayne run by Dr Morton.
In memory of my daddy who died of cancer , he was a lifelong John Wayne fan .
