About this campaign

Jill and family needs help with the expense of fighting breast cancer she has to drive to columbus twice a week for dr appts and chemo

Jill was diagnosed with breast cancer in the beginning of August 2013. November 1, 2013 she had double mastectomy with reconstruction, she was doing good and recovering well. She started chemo on January 2, 2014, the first day she did good then the nausea and vomiting started. On January 15 she was admitted to the hospital for low blood pressure and severe infection, the next day she was back insurgery to have implants removed . After that surgery things were starting to look up again until January 31 when she was put back in the hospital for pneumonia. While in the hospital they found a very small blood clot in one of her lungs. She recovered from all that and was able to start back with chemo in February. They put her on a lower dose of chemo to start out with and she has been doing wonderful. She gained back some of the 44 pounds she lost and has gotten some of her energy back. She is halfway done with this round of chemo then she starts the higher dose going every other week instead of every week. When she gets done with chemo she is supposed to have radiation 5 days a week for 7 weeks. She is such a fighter and a true inspiration.
