Jace's Warriors

Jace, also known as Batman (named by his Big Brother Jackston) was diagnosed in utero at 33 weeks with a congenital heart defect called Tetrology of Fallot. His birthday is 11/5/14!!Jace's mommy and daddywere commuting into the medical center numerous times per week, paying to park, their food, etc!! Mommy Lauren is a Neonatal Intensive Care RN. Daddy Justin is the fire marshal for the City of Rosenberg. They help many in the same situation and we hope to help this family as well.Jace has been through A LOT in the past 2 weeks, heart cath andopen heart surgery.Then a couple days before looking at going home Jace went into respiratory distress followed by cardiac arrest. His little body was being cooled andhe was on an ECMO (heart & lung bypass machine) to let his body rest and heal.Our little superhero had been throughso much inthe short 5 months hewas here with us, and he hasshown usall how tobe afighter. It is with a heavy heart that we have to tell you all this, but our little Jace grew his superhero wings and is now flying through Heaven with the most PERFECT heart. Jace earned his wings on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Our little Batman has so many prayer warriors and support from all over!Thank you all for your continued prayers for our sweet Jace, and now for the family as they deal with the loss of such a happy little boy. God chooses special people to be superheroes, and he chose one heck of a little guy to be our superhero! #jaceswarriors
