About this campaign

Sales of this shirt support the Itiso Scholarship Fund and ensure that formal education does not have to end early. The Fund pays for high school students from Itiso Village in Tanzania to complete their secondary education. So far, all of our selected scholars have been boys. I hope to raise enough to be able to award scholarships to a boy and a girl this year. 25 shirts should get us there!

The fund is created/operated by a Peace Corps volunteer who lived in Itiso and saw students purposely failing graduating exams because their parents could not afford to send them to the next level of their education. ISF hopes that offering financial aid will encourage students to do their best and achieve their goals, regardless of their financial situation. Scholars are selected based on grades/exam scores, conduct, and financial need. The Fund is a Member-Sponsored Project of Friends of Tanzania.
