Atlanta Black Gay Pride

In the Life Atlanta was founded as the official organizer of Atlanta Black Pride since its inception in 1996. As a non-profit 501(c) 3 community service organization, it is our mission to provide education, entertainment, and a positive voice for the African American LGBTQIA communities in greater Atlanta. In 2004, Atlanta was proud to be the host to the largest African American LGBT Pride celebration in the world, a distinction that continues into 2015 as we celebrate our 19th year anniversary as a community service organization and annual pride organizer. ITLA is known for their signature events, which brings a level of quality programming that is superior to none. The annual Atlanta Black Gay Pride celebration now attracts gay people of color from every part of the nation, as well as from countries abroad. As we have continued to evolve, ITLA has also been able to provide year-round programs and events that promote community leadership, education, healthy living, self- empowerment, economic growth, and political involvement.
