About this campaign
Help us raise funds to get our Veterans on their road to recovery. Many Veterans do not have the financial means to take advantage of costly opportunities such as outdoor recreational healing. With your purchase of a t-shirt, we can make their healing dream a reality. Each t-shirt will go towards a Veterans cost to food, lodging, gear needed to accommodate them for their trip and their injury, and expense to get their. Many Veterans have physical combat injuries that make it difficult for them to interact with the outdoors and peers. At Inspiring Our Heroes, our mission is to facilitate those injuries and not turn them away, with your generous donation and purchase of a t-shirt, you will fill the gap between the Veterans and the accommodation cost. In September of 2014, two combat Veterans co-founded a 501c3 non-profit
organization: Inspiring Our Heroes. Inspiring Our Heroes (IOH) recognizes the
gap between Veterans’ needs and available services. IOH is on a mission to
improve the physical and mental health of our nation’s Veterans by helping them
to discover (or rediscover) their passions and to successfully reintegrate into
the civilian world. Inspiring Our Heroes strives to bridge the gap between
Veterans and the HEALING opportunities that lie just out of reach; and to bring
normalcy back to combat-hardened veterans by fostering brotherhood and
inspiration through nature
outings and fellowship. Inspiring Our Heroes was created to help fellow Veterans
find inspiration. Through special programs and peer support, IOH endeavors to
motivate, energize, and empower our nation’s Veterans, helping them to manage
physical and mental service-related injuries so that they can become the
productive member of society they long for. In order to help our fellow
veterans combat war zone Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), we must rely on
outside support for equipment and operational budgeting in order to provide the
