About this campaign

EducationCloset.com is committed to supporting access to the arts for all citizens. We would like to donate $500 to Creating Communities, an organization committed to implementing life-changing arts programs for kids and adults with mental illness or who are homeless.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

EducationCloset.com is a resource dedicated to providing integrated and innovative professional development for educators. This year, we have been blessed to speak, write and teach an ever-expanding group of teachers and arts enthusiasts from all across the country. As a way to give back for all of the generosity bestowed to us, we would like to share the "iEduc(re)ate" campaign with all of you.

These t-shirts are an arts advocacy tool and a clear message that we as educators do more than educate - we create, inspire, uplift, share, and carefully craft experiences for all children. We want to not only spread this message, but also send the proceeds to benefit those whom many have forgotten in our communities.

All proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts this holiday season will go to Creating Communities, an organization committed to implementing life-changing arts programs for kids and adults with mental illnesses, recovering from addiction, or who are homeless. With the recent rise in horrible tragedies such as the Navy Yard shooting and the senseless shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, we can no longer ignore mental illness and its devastating effects.

It is our hope that by contributing the proceeds from these t-shirts to the Creating Communities organization, the healing and soulful power of the arts can have a positive impact on the treatment of mental illness in a direct way.
