IDB Racing Time Attack / Hill Climb 2016 Season

We've been accepted as one of the 100 entries for the 100th Anniversary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, at which we'll be running a purpose-built Honda CRX in the Time Attack 1 class, and we're currently seeking any additional support we can get!

The chassis is currently being built, and will be 50/50 weight distribution at under 861kg (1900lbs) whilst making in the neighborhood of 600 wheel horsepower. We've raced the Hill Climb the last two years in a BMW M3 that we built from scratch (featured in an article on RightFootDown which was on the front page of Jalopnik for a bit: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/racing-and-wrenching-the-old-school-way-an-interview-w-1728110837), prior to that raced an Aprilia motorcycle there in 2012, and have acquired a considerable amount of knowledge about what's needed on The Mountain. With the assistance of Brooks Motorsport Composites and Apex Auto Works, we're looking to finish on the podium in the Time Attack 1 class and set a new Front Wheel Drive record at Pikes Peak. The car will be officially debuted at the Global Time Attack event May 6-7 at Road Atlanta, and in addition to competing in that event and Pikes Peak will be entered in the other two Championship rounds of Global Time Attack, in hopes of winning the FWD and overall GTA Championship as well.
While we've got most of the aspects of the vehicle secured, one of the things we still need is financial backing - primarily for food, fuel, and room & board during our racing endeavors.
