About this campaign

IAVA is outraged by the recent cuts to military retirees’ benefits - it’s the epitome of a broken promise. We won’t stop fighting until the Congress keeps its promise and our retirees get back what is rightfully theirs. A 20% cut to retirement benefits is unacceptable!

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.


Founded in 2004 by an Iraq veteran, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is the first and largest organization for new veterans and their families, with nearly 300,000 members and supporters nationwide. IAVA is a 21st century veterans’ organization dedicated to standing with the 2.6 million veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan from their first day home through the rest of their lives.

IAVA is gearing up for a huge 2014. Our annual "Storm the Hill" gives us a chance to reset our policy agenda and determine how best to advance big priorities facing Post-9/11 Veterans and veterans of all eras. In the past we have tackled the Post-9/11 GI Bill, advanced appropriations for VA health care, modernizing the VA, and bringing an end to the VA backlog. This year IAVA is targeting two of our biggest priorities: Suicide and Mental Health.
