Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Man and Woman of the Year Campaign Ian's Army is in recruitment mode. We need your help!!!

Each year LLS holds a Man and Woman of the Year Campaign where several men and women are nominated for the event and this year I have that honor. Essentially it is an intense 10 week campaign and every dollar I raise is a vote for me. My son Ian was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 3. Ian's Chemotherapy lasted 3 years and 2 months (approximately 1,150 days), he experienced hair loss, nausea, swelling from steroids, numerous hospital stays, over 20 bone marrow samples and spinal taps, 60 occasions of chemo drugs administered by injection, over 150 blood tests and nearly 5,000 pills administered on a daily basis. 

Thankfully Ian is now in remission and we are counting the days till he is considered cured. Our battle is not over. ALL used to be a death sentence, but because of LLS and help from people like you the cure rate is now 94%. However, other types of Leukemia are still the largest killer of people under 20 years old.
