About this campaign

Please join us in raising funds for the Michigan Chapter of the Children's Heart Foundation! Take the pledge today to think of Izzy and all of the kids (and adults) who were born with heart defects each time you eat ice cream this summer. Then donate a quarter, a dollar, ten dollars for each frozen treat. Keep a jar for the money in your kitchen or keep a tally (ice cream stickers are a fun way to track). Izzy's Ice Cream Challenge officially runs this year from Saturday, June 4 through Saturday, August 6, 2016. Buy this shirt to let everyone know that you eat ice cream for Izzy!

The event culminates at Izzy's Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 6, 2016, with carnival games, raffles, and a mak your o sunda bar!

Izzy is a beautiful and vivacious 8 year old who was born with complex congenital heart defects ("CHD"). Unfortunately, Izzy has reached the edge of science and is in heart failure with no fixes, no surgery, no help. We don't think it is right that an 8 year old should suffer, so we want to raise funds for research. Izzy's favorie treat s ice cream,so we eat ice cream for Izzy and fund CHD research at the same time! Join us for Izzy's Ice Cream Challenge.
