About this campaign
Human Rights Initiative of North Texas provides free legal and social services to immigrants and asylum seekers who have been tortured and abused, and are living under the poverty line in the DFW metroplex.
On May 6th Human Rights Initiative will join thousands as we march for immigrant rights. We will proudly wear our #ImmigrantRightsAreHumanRights shirt and show the world that we will continue to fight for freedom and justice!
Our clients are survivors. They have survived being tortured, raped, abused, and jailed for their beliefs, their ethnicities, and their religions. Our clients are kids who walked for months to the U.S. border alone; mothers beaten by their American husbands; preachers, nurses, and students. Their rights and freedoms are just as important and worthy. We work to provide them with safety, stability, and oportunity.
