6 months ago Whit was your typical CF transplanted patient. Doing wonderful and almost 4 years out. One day she felt tightness in her chest but brushed it off and did an albuterol she had laying around. As the week went on it persisted, except a cough followed. We tried to get her transplant teams help. 4 ER visits, 3 doctors calling Atlanta telling them they really need to transfer her that they suspected she was in rejection. Atlanta refused. By the time they would see her, 2 months later, it was too late. She was put on a ventilator then she was trached. Now we are home and its me, mom doing it all by myself. It's not like she prefers it any other way. We just need thee extra help. I hope yall love the shirts.
